Saint Pol-de-Léon est une ville de 7.400 habitants, posée sur 13 km de la côte Nord du Finistère, à 60 km de Brest. Tournée vers la mer, elle est plus proche de Plymouth que de Rennes. Administrativement, elle est chef-lieu d’un canton et siège d’une communauté qui regroupe huit communes et 22.000 habitants.
